West African graduates who have finished or have not yet started their nation’s mandated national youth service are eligible to apply for this internship.

Internship Program Requirements:
- Undergraduate or master’s degree
- Less than 3 years of work experience
- Completed or is about to begin national youth service
- Outstanding record of academic achievement
- Proven record of leadership through extracurricular activities and/or in a work setting
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
McKinsey Company Internship Program Duration and Reward
- Working in groups of three to five consultants, you will participate actively in every facet of the client interaction.
- This involves obtaining data and evaluating it, creating and putting to the test theories, and creating and disseminating recommendations.
- Additionally, you will be able to work with the client team to execute recommendations and demonstrate results to clients.
- Along with developing your current strengths, you’ll pick up new ones at McKinsey.
- In addition to regular coaching and mentorship from team members, YLPs receive outstanding training.
- If you perform well, you might be given a full-time position as a business analyst by the office once the YLP ends.
