2025 Fully Funded Singapore International Graduate Award. The Singapore overseas Graduate prize 2025 is a merit-based prize for all overseas students with outstanding academic records. The SINGA program 2025 attracts the world’s brightest minds to pursue PhD at Singapore’s top institutions. All graduates are eligible to pursue their PhD in science and technology through this international fully-funded scholarship opportunity in one of the world’s most academically advanced countries.

SINGA serves as a gateway for international students to pursue PhD studies at Singapore’s premier universities, including Nanyang Technological University, the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and Singapore University of Technology. This scholarship, in conjunction with the Agency for Science, is open to students interested in conducting relevant research that will lead to a PhD in science or engineering.

The Singapore Government Scholarship 2025 participants will continue their research at the artistic and advanced labs of A*STAR Research Institutes in Singapore. Furthermore, they will learn to coexist in a global and diverse setting while studying alongside students and mentors from many countries. Aside from all of these academic benefits, the fellows will have some real-life knowledge of how the tiniest country can be made economically and socially rich and empower.

Benefits of SINGA Award 2025:

  • Covers  full tuition fees of the awardees.
  • Monthly stipend of S$ 2,200.
  • The monthly stipend will be increased to S$ 2700 after qualifying for the first examination.
  • The fellow will be given up to S$1500 as a one-time airfare grant.
  • The fellows will be awarded a S$1000 one-time settlement grant.
  • A settling-in allowance of up to S$1,000 will be given.

Eligibility Criteria of Singapore International Graduate Award 2025:

  • International students are a requirement for applicants.
  • A bachelor’s degree must have been earned by the candidates.
  • The candidates need to have outstanding academic records.
  • The candidate’s English language proficiency is a requirement.
  • Since English language proficiency can be evaluated during the interview, SINGA does not require a specific certificate for it. Nonetheless, each university may have its own requirements, including an English Language Certificate.
  • Candidates who have already finished their tertiary education in Singapore or who are citizens of Singapore are not eligible to apply.
  • Those who would like to apply for the master’s program are not qualified.
  • The only applicants who are qualified are those who wish to pursue doctorates in science and engineering.
  • PhD courses for social sciences, humanities, economics, etc are not eligible.

Required Documents for the Singapore International Graduate Award:

  • A copy of a valid passport.
  • A recent passport-size photo in JPG or PNG format.
  • All academic transcripts are translated into the English language.
  • 2 recommendation letters will be submitted by the referees online.
  • English proficiency certificate (if required by the university).

           How to Apply?

  • The candidates have to submit all the necessary documents online.
  • The research projects must be chosen by the candidates by looking through the projects under “Go to Research Areas.”
  • The reference letters must be sent straight to SINGA by the referees.
  • As soon as SINGA has received at least two reference letters, the application process will begin.
  • The necessary documents must be uploaded in soft copy format to the online application.
  • It is not necessary for applicants utilizing the SINGA portal to submit separate applications on university portals.
  • It is advisable to submit your application at least two weeks prior to the deadline, as your referees will receive an email once your application has been submitted, and they will have seven days to finish and submit the reference letters.
  • In the application forms, candidates must provide a detailed description of their proposed research.
